After going through this step by step tutorial, instead of using a Gmail address. You’ll be able to create an email address like email@example.com. This looks a lot more professional also you can send and receive emails using this professional email.
What is a Business Email and Why You Should Have it?
A business email has your company name in place of gmail.com or yahoo.com, for example, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Most of the people use a simple Gmail or Yahoo emails which isn’t professional. but if you use a business email, it adds more authority to your email as well as your company.
These Gmail and Yahoo emails are really easy to create and anyone can create it with real ease. So, it is really hard to trust those businesses cause they look like creepy.

Requirements to Create a Business Email
After creating the business email you have to connect it with your existing Gmail account and for this, you need to have a Domain name and a Hosting. If you don’t have a domain name and hosting then you can have one from Hostinger.
After having this you just need a Gmail address to which you want to connect your business email.
The method I am going to teach you is completely free, all you need is a domain and hosting.
Steps to Create Business Email For Free
1. Login to Your Hosting Account
The first step is to log in to your hosting provider account and scroll over to the Email section. I am using Hostinger as my hosting provider so, it will look like this. Don’t worry you will find this section in any hosting.
2. Create a New Email Account
Now, you have to create an email account for your domain name. Here in the email section, you can type the prefix that you want, in this case, I am using admin. Just put the prefix and the other this is already there i.e., @yourdomain.com. Now enter a password for your Email address and click on ‘create‘.
After that, you will be able to see your professional email in ‘Manage Email Accounts‘.
3. Create an Email Forwarder
What is Email Forwarder? It re-sends an email message delivered to one email address to a possibly different email address. GO to your hosting panel and Click on Email Forwarders under the Emails section.
So, to create an Email forwarder firstly type in the email address prefix that you have created previously and chose the domain from ‘chose an option‘ tab. In this case, it is email@example.com.
Then write the forward to email which is your Gmail address that you want to connect and click ‘create‘.
You can see that the status is showing ‘waiting for confirmation’. So, to fix this just go to your Gmail account and open the Hostinger email and click on ‘complete setup‘. Now you can see the Email forwarder confirmation is completed.
4. Connecting the Business Email with Your Gmail Account
Go to your Gmail account and click and click on the gear icon on the top right. here, click on ‘Account and Import‘. Now, In the send mail as section click on ‘Add another email address‘.
You will see something like this.
Here put the name that you want to display as senders name. It could be your name, blog name or anything. Then type in the business email address that you have created in your hosting account. After this, click ‘Next Step‘.
Now, here is the important part begins, you have to type the SMTP server, username, and password.
For the SMTP server, go to your Hosting→Email→Email Accounts. You will see all the details here, copy the SMTP host and paste it into the SMTP server of your Gmail account.
Now, the username will be your professional email address and the password is also the same that you have chosen while creating the email. After this, click ‘Add Account‘.
You will receive a confirmation code from Gmail Team in your Gmail account, open the email and copy & paste the code in the confirmation code section and click ‘Verify‘.
You are almost done and now you can receive all the emails sent to your business email. But you cannot send the emails with your professional email.
So, to do this again go to your Gmail and go to Settings→Accounts and Import. Here, In the send mail as section look for your business email and click on ‘make default‘ at the right of it. And Now you are completely done with creating your professional email address for free.
